These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Travel with Likya website and participation in any Travel with Likya programs, sessions, or experiences, including group programs offered under the Likya Scholars name. Travel with Likya is a brand of Likya Scholars LLC ("Travel with Likya," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing our website, submitting an inquiry, or booking a program, you agree to these Terms.
Travel with Likya offers small-group, place-based travel experiences centered on cultural immersion, guided exploration, and independent discovery. Programs are delivered in collaboration with trusted local partners. Unless explicitly stated, participation does not provide academic credit or constitute enrollment in an academic institution.
Participants must be at least 18 years old, or have guardian consent where applicable, and must be physically and mentally able to participate in all aspects of the program. Participants are responsible for ensuring they hold valid travel documents, including passports and visas where required, and for assessing their own readiness for travel.
A 20% deposit is required to reserve a place in a program. The remaining balance is due on the balance due date shown for your departure. Spaces are limited and confirmed on a first-come basis. Failure to complete payment by the stated deadline may result in loss of the reserved spot.
Programs are intentionally small. The group size and the minimum number of participants for each departure are shown on its departure page. If Likya cancels a departure, or it does not reach its minimum by the booking deadline shown for that departure, participants will receive a full refund, including any deposit paid, or can transfer to an alternative trip.
Program fees include accommodation at a private coastal villa, meals as outlined in the itinerary, scheduled activities and excursions, local transportation during group programming, on-site support, and routine cleaning services. Travel insurance is also included and described below. Program fees do not include flights, personal expenses, optional activities, or travel outside official program dates.
Accommodation is provided in private villas in Kaş, named on each departure page. Rooms may be arranged with one shared bed or two separate beds, depending on configuration. Not all participants will have private rooms. Room assignments are determined based on group composition and logistics.
Each departure has its own cancellation and refund policy. It is linked from the departure page and shown again when you reserve, before you pay, and the policy for the departure you book is the one that applies to you. If a departure's policy and these Terms differ, the departure's policy controls. If Likya cancels a departure, or it does not reach its minimum by the booking deadline, you receive a full refund, including any deposit, or a transfer to an alternative trip.
Programs include periods of independent time. During these periods, participants are responsible for their own decisions, activities, and safety.
Participants are solely responsible for booking their own flights to and from Türkiye, holding a valid passport, and obtaining any required visas or travel authorizations. Travel with Likya is not responsible for denied entry, visa issues, or travel disruptions related to documentation, airline decisions, or border policies.
Participants are responsible for managing their own health needs and determining fitness for travel. Dietary preferences and restrictions may be accommodated when communicated in advance, but accommodation cannot be guaranteed in all situations. Participants acknowledge that tap water in Türkiye is not potable and that clean drinking water will be provided at the villa.
Participants are expected to contribute to a respectful, safe, and comfortable group environment. This includes maintaining reasonable cleanliness in shared spaces, practicing basic hygiene, and being considerate of others in shared accommodations.Harassment, discrimination, sexual misconduct, or any form of abusive or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Participants are expected to respect personal boundaries and contribute positively to the group dynamic.Failure to meet these standards may result in removal from the program without refund.
Travel insurance is included as part of the program. Likya arranges iNext travel insurance for every guest, with coverage including emergency medical expenses (up to $500,000), emergency medical evacuation (up to $1,000,000), and limited protection for trip delays and baggage. Coverage is provided by iNext and is subject to the specific terms, conditions, and exclusions of the policy. Participants are encouraged to request and review the full policy before travel and to obtain additional coverage if desired. Travel with Likya is not the insurance provider and is not responsible for claim outcomes.
Travel involves inherent risks, including but not limited to transportation delays, weather conditions, physical exertion, and unfamiliar environments. By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with travel and program activities.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Travel with Likya is not liable for injury, illness, loss, damage, or delay resulting from participation; is not responsible for acts or omissions of third-party service providers; and is not responsible for force majeure events, including natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or public health emergencies.
Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward fellow participants, staff, local communities, and partners. Travel with Likya reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate. Removal does not entitle the participant to a refund.
Unless explicitly stated, Travel with Likya programs, including Likya Scholars group programs, do not provide academic credit. Participation does not constitute enrollment in a university or educational institution.
All content, materials, and branding associated with Travel with Likya and Likya Scholars are the property of Likya Scholars LLC and may not be used or reproduced without permission.
Use of the website and services is subject to the Travel with Likya Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information is collected and used.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Likya Scholars LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Likya's travel booking, trip planning, tour, and hosted travel services are not currently offered for sale to persons located in the State of Florida.Likya does not accept bookings for travel-related services from customers located in Florida. By submitting an inquiry for booking, entering into a travel agreement, or purchasing travel services from Likya, you represent that you are not located in Florida for purposes of the booking transaction.Likya reserves the right to decline, cancel, or refund a booking where accepting or continuing the transaction would require a state registration, license, bond, or other regulatory authorization that Likya does not maintain.Any mailing, registered agent, or administrative address used by Likya is provided for corporate or administrative purposes and does not represent a location from which Likya offers travel services to the public.
Travel with Likya may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
