Plan a Group ProgramLikya Scholars works with schools and universities, companies, clubs and organizations of all sizes. We support learning, leadership and wellbeing, with a cultural lens rooted in Turkey.
Programs take place on Turkey's Lycian Coast and are built around experiential learning. Participants engage with history, Mediterranean ecology, philosophy and cultural exchange through direct experience, not lectures. Turkey sits between East and West, which shapes a view of the world unlike anywhere else. Workshops are held at our private villa or villa complex, and larger groups can also use our partner boutique hotel across the street.
We can also add Istanbul, Cappadocia, Antalya, Ankara and other cities.
This is not a classroom, a boardroom or a traditional retreat. It is a structured, immersive setting where ideas are explored in context. Over shared meals, our hosts lead discussions about Turkish traditions and how the culture came to be what it is today.
Each program is custom designed. We provide the setting, local expertise, and full logistical support. You bring your students, participants, or team, along with your goals, curriculum, or facilitators. Together, we create a program that is cohesive, intentional, and grounded in place.
The day begins with a shared Turkish breakfast and orientation, introducing the historical, ecological, or philosophical context for the day’s exploration.
Some days start with a short presentation or talk before we head out.
Each day has one or two main activities: hiking through canyons, visiting ancient ruins, boat days along the coast and swimming in hidden bays.
There is enough to fill a week or a whole semester, and every itinerary is shaped around your organization's goals.
After a full day we slow down, with a calmer activity or free time to explore town, visit a local beach or swim in the villa pool.
Back at the villa, tea and snacks are waiting.

Our chef has been cooking since the afternoon: grilled fish, meat, roasted vegetables and meze. Candles on the terrace.

Villa Savad sits on a private complex. As your group grows we add the neighboring villas, so everyone stays together on the same property.
A hotel stay sized for groups of up to 20, with the same Likya hosting, guides, and excursions as our villa trips. Plus additional services offered by the hotel.
For our largest groups, the hotel can accommodate up to 40 guests, so programs for schools, companies, and organizations can stay under one roof. Plus, additional services are offered by the hotel.
